Homework - The homework for the week is listed in the orange notebooks. Our spelling words this week focus on /ing/ word endings, as well as /th/ beginning words. When you are doing the reading comprehension stories, make sure that you read carefully and answer each question. Use the strategies we have been working on. Go back and read again; Find the answer in the story and underline it; Look for the clues. In math we are working on measurement with non-standard units. Please make sure that you read each night and record your book on the log sheet.

Class Project With Texas - We did our weekly report with our friends in Ms. Sands class. Hannah, Cameron and Alissa did a great job as the class and weather reporters and poetry reader. We mailed our letters to them on Tuesday. They are having some really warm spring days. The leaves are growing on the trees and the flowers are in bloom. We are working on our project with the Laura Numeroff books. We will be making our own class book to send to them.
Yearbook Orders - Thursday April 13th is the last day to order a yearbook. The cost is $20.00.
Math Games - Just a reminder that our Math Games go home on Tuesdays and they are due back on Thursday. This is a good chance to work on adding and subtraction and have some fun playing them with your family. Please sign the log sheet and make sure all the pieces go back into the bags or boxes.
No School - There is no school on Good Friday April 14th and Easter Monday April 17th.
Have an awesome week!
