Hello Everyone! Last week was a very busy week with lots of things going on. Stay tuned to find out about some of the things we have been working on.       Tulip Garden/Project With Texas Our Grade 2 classes planted our tulips last week. It was a very chilly day, but we planted all 50 tulip bulbs. We will be comparing our garden with our class in Texas. We found out that it is too warm for them to plant their bulbs at this time. They can't plant them until January! They are keeping them in the fridge! We had our first video conference last Wednesday and the students had a chance to talk to their pen pals. We are writing our first letter and will start our live weather reports this week.   Daily 5 Great news, our class reached 15 minutes of independent reading! We are also working on different ways to Read To Someone. We will keep you updated to let you know how we are doing. Have an awesome week!
