In the Spirit of Giving

The Nelson Peer Helpers, assisted by Guidance staff Lynn Pritchard and Christine Bowes, held a special Event called "Girls Night Out: In the Spirit of Giving". The all-girl Peer Helper group, which provide Peer Mediation conflict resolution help to fellow students and school/community service projects, had a Sleep Over at the school on February 19th. They had fun making jewelry, and beautiful magnets.
Locker Magnets, Jewelery and Bake Goods

The Peer Helpers will be selling homemade locker magnets, jewelery and baked goods starting Monday March 15th. They will be selling these items during lunchtime.

Nelson Rural Spell-a-Thon
Posted February 8, 2010Nelson Rural's Spell-a-Thon is this month. This is an extremely important fundraiser for our school as it is our only financial means of supporting our many extra curricular and co-curricular programs. (Referees, Uniforms, Field Trips, etc.)
Dates to Remember:
Friday Feb. 5th- Annual Spell-a-Thon Kick Off Assesmbly Pledge Sheets go home.
Tuesday Feb. 16th- All Pledge sheets for the Spell-a-Thon are due back.
Thursday Feb. 18th- Spell-a-Thon held in each class. Read more »
