Focus on letters your child does not know first, as well as those letters in their name. As students read the two student books, have them point to each word ,ex. "I paint.", and stop at the period.Use the pictures for cues to help identify the words. ex. the picture could be an alligator or crocodile, look at the word, it starts with a, say the beginning letter sound and the word alligator. Please remember to fill in the reading log each night and have your child print their name.Return your borrow-a-book bag back to class on Friday.
