I hope everyone is healthy and staying safe. I’m assuming by now that everyone knows we will be starting the year with home learning once again. I am aware that for a variety of reasons not everyone is able to get onto teams. If you would prefer to pick up a home packet please pm me and I will get something ready for you. I will be on teams during regularly scheduled class times and will be available through the class FB forum for anyone who needs help or clarification on any work that is assigned. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to read and write daily.

What a beautiful day to get outside and enjoy the sun.

Take a notebook and pencil out with you and do the 5-4-3-2-1! grounding activity!

Record 5 things you see, 4 things you hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you smell and something you can taste.

Cuddle in a big blanket and read.

Remember it isn't about getting assignments done it is about what we learn in the process and on the way. Take time to do whatever will help you improve your reading and writing skills.

Grade 5/6M Mr. Methot has posted a French assignment on his class wall so go have a look!
