Hi Everyone,  I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We are half way through the month of November already. Remember to pack a hat and mittens in your back packs so you have them if you need them.        Phys.Ed  Our Phys.Ed days this week are on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.        Library  Wednesday is our library day. Remember to bring your books back.        Skating  Our first skating day of the year is on Thursday November 17th from 9:00 - 9:40am. The students will need to have skates and a CSA approved helmet. Parents are welcome to come and join us on the ice.        International Project  We had our first video conference with our partner class in Dallas, Texas on Thursday November 10th. The students had a chance to meet their pen pals, tell them about themselves and ask questions. Madison, Colin and Damian did a super job with the class report, weather report and poetry reading. The students were very excited to have the chance to talk with their friends. We were surprised to find out that we were warmer than Dallas on Thursday. Our next activity will be the Play With Your Food Art Show, coming up next week. More information will be sent home this week.    Homework  Just a reminder that the students should be reading their book each night and recording it on their reading log sheet. Please remember that the red homework folders are due back each day.        Class Pictures  Our class pictures are in. They are available to students for $4.00.          Have a great week!
