Hi Everyone!  Wow! Can you believe that it is December already? It is a busy month, so please check the calendar for upcoming events.      Just a reminder that class pictures are available for $4.00.            International Project  There was lots of excitement in our room on Friday, as our letters from pen pals arrived from Texas. The students were excited to read all about their buddies. We are busy writing letters and making Christmas cards to send out on Thursday. Our weekly report went well yesterday and Lexa and Tanner did a super job as the reporters and Jenna did a nice poetry reading. There is no snow in Texas yet!    Skating  Our next skating day is on Thursday December 9th. Ice time is from 9:00-9:40am. Students need skates and helmets. Parents please join us if you are able.        Food Bank  A reminder that the Student Council is doing a food drive for the Food Bank.        Borrow-A-Book  Remember to read each night and fill out your reading log.    Enjoy the rest of the week! There are only 24 more days until Christmas!

Hi Everyone!  The snow has arrived! With the colder weather please make sure that the students are dressed for the weather and have hats and mittens.      Play With Your Food Art Show  What an amazing job the students did with their projects! Everyone who stopped by to see the display loved the characters. They were very creative and well done! A big thank you to all parents for your support with this project. Our next part is to create a story about the character they made. Check out the image gallery for pictures of the characters.    International Project  Tyler and Nicholas were our weather and class reporters this week and they did a great job. We had a bigger group to present to this week, as our friends in Texas had their grandparents visiting. We have started work on our Christmas cards to send and will begin our letters on Friday. It is Thanksgiving Day in the USA on Thursday November 25th and we would like to wish a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of our American Friends!    Food Bank  Just a reminder that the Student Council is collecting items for the Food Bank.     Enjoy the rest of the week!
