Grade 2 News October 15 - 19

Posted: October 14, 2012

Hi Evryone,  Hope you enjoyed your weekend. We are back to a full week after a three day week. The days are getting colder and the mornings can be chilly. Just a reminder that it would be a good idea for the studnets to start bringing hats, mitts or gloves.      Phys. Ed  Our Phys. Ed days are Monday and Wednesday.        Credit Union  First Credit Union day this year is on Tuesday October 16th.      Library  Wednesday is library day. Remember to bring your book back.    Book Orders  The October book order forms are due on Thursday October 19th, if you would like to order.        Project With Texas We have continued our Collaborative Project with our friends at St. John's School in Dallas, Texas. So far we have exchanged class letters of introdution for September. Our tulip garden was planted with Mrs. Dickson's and Ms. Hackett's classes on October 4th. We will be comparing our garden with their garden throughout the year. Now we are in the process of our class writing on how we celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada. The students are enjoying the project. Next month we will be doing Play With Your Food.    Have a great week!
