I created 3 patterns. Can you continue my patterns? Can you identify the core of each pattern? Thank you for the pictures of your patterns :)

Hi there! What a beautiful day. I hope you get a chance to get outside today to play and explore. There are so many math patterns in nature which makes it a great place to practice. Collect some items and have fun! Try acorn, rock/acorn, rock.... or pine cone, rock, seed/pine cone, rock, seed...Be sure to take a picture if your little creates a pattern.

If you haven't listened to this story yet, you really should. I heard it is one of Kent's favourites!

This is a really fun idea, You can line them up and count to 10 (fowards and backwards). You can also make letters or words with a collection of rocks. Have fun!

Good morning families!! Our class didn't get a chance to vote for the pumpkin contest. Could you please look at the pumpkin videos for each level on our school home page. You can vote for one elementary pumpkin, one middle school pumpkin, and two primary pumpkins (one carved and one decorated). Please send me an email or message with the # of your favourite pumpkin for each level, K-2, 3-5, 6-8. Please send your choices to me by Friday, Nov.5th. Thank you!!
