Room on the Broom Video
We have been working on re-telling "Room on the Broom" by Julia Donaldson. We read the story many times. Then they colored the main characters and made a broom. Next, they practiced re-telling the story with help from an online story. Finally, they glued the characters on in sequential order. This was a video we really enjoyed.

Today we walked to Fletcher's Farm. We had such a beautiful afternoon there. We did the corn maze, rode the pedal carts, fed the animals and played. So many smiles and giggles today. So much fun!

Tuesday: Wear School Colors to show your school spirit!

Friday: Crazy Hat/Hair Day OR costumes
Please do not send treats (cookies, cupcakes...) to school to share with the class. We will have a little celebration in our classroom. Fruit trays will be provided by the school.
Also...if you'd like to decorate a pumpkin at home for our school Pumpkin Contest, you can send in a short video or a photo of the pumpkin to our K-2 organizer Rebecca.hitchman@nbed.nb.ca. This is not something you have to do, just something extra if you have the time. We will be decorating a class pumpkin at school. Thank you. We are planning our trip to Fletcher's Farm on Thursday, Oct 21. We will be walking from the school to the farm and back so please monitor the weather and ensure your child is dressed appropriately. Please pack a lunch that doesn't require heating as we won't have access to a microwave at the farm. Thank You!

Tomorrow is “Take Me Outside Day” at school and we will be spending more time than usual outside. Please make sure your little one is dressed for the weather so they will be warm and comfortable. Thank you :)

Yesterday I sent home the login information for Squiggle Park. We have been playing at school and are really enjoying it. Hopefully you will able to play a little at home as well. I would like to remind you that while on Squiggle Park, you may guide your child but please resist helping too much. If it is too tricky, that just means they need more practice at that level- and that is okay. Have fun!
