• I hope you had a good Thanksgiving weekend with your family!

Phys. Ed

• Our Phys. Ed days this week are Tuesday and Thursday.

Library

• Our library day is on Tuesday.
• Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.
• Students need to have their book returned in order to sign out a new one.

Homework/Reading

• Work on your words. Remember to use the sounds you know to help .
• Once you know all the words on both side of the sheet, have someone at home sign the sheet.
• Choos a book from the reading bag to read each night. Remember to sign the log sheet each time you read. Make sure you use your strategies to help with your reading.

Cafeteria

• If your child is ordering , please write a note and put it in a bag or container.
• Lunch orders have to be sent to the cafeteria by 9:00AM.

Water Bottles

• Just a reminder to bring in a water bottle that you can refill and use throughout the day.

Fire Prevention Week

• This week is Fire Prevention Week.
• The theme this year is – Pay Attention To Fire Prevention!
• Please take some time to go over fire safety at home. Practice your home escape plan. Remember you should know two ways out and have a meeting place outside.
• The Fire Safety Gazette is going home this week. If your child would like to go in the draw for Fire Chief For The Day, they need to bring back the form.

No School

• There is no school for students on Friday October 13^th as it is a Professional Learning Day for teachers.

Field Trip

• We will be going to Fletcher’s Farm on Thursday October 5^th, 2023.
• An orange MEMO is in the pink folders today.
• Please return the permission slip signed. The cost for students is $2.00, and the Student Council will pay the remaining cost.
• Make sure you dress for the weather.

Thanksgiving Holiday

• Wishing all students and their families a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
