Hi Everyone!

• Just a reminder to please make sure you are dressed for the weather.

Phys. Ed

• Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Homework/Reading

• Work on your words. Remember to use the sounds you know to help.
• Once you know all the words, have someone at home sign the sheet.
• Choose a book from the reading bag to read each night. Remember to sign the log sheet each time you read. Make sure you use your strategies to help with your reading.
• This week we have our spelling words. The focus is on compound words. Two smaller words that go together to make a bigger word. We are sending them home to work on and we will be doing activities with them at school as well.

Caterpillars

• We got our caterpillars on Friday.
• We will be observing them as they grow and change until they become butterflies.

Cafeteria

• If your child is ordering, please write a note and put it in a bag or container.
• Lunch orders need to be into the cafeteria by 9:00AM.

Water Bottles

• Just a reminder to bring in a water bottle that you can refill and use throughout the day. 

No School

• There is no school for students on Monday May 20^th as it is the Victoria Day holiday.

Book Fair

• The Scholastic Book Fair will take place in the school library from May 21^st – May 24^th.
• A flyer went home with books available.
• The students will be able to purchase books during our scheduled class times.
