Hi Everyone!
- I hope you had a fun weekend and got out to play!
- Just a reminder to please make sure you are dressed for the weather. We are having some warmer days this week.
- Please check back here each week to find out what is happening with our class.
Phys. Ed
- Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Library
- Our library day is on Wednesday.
- Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.
Homework/Reading
- We started our homework this week. We will only be doing sight words and reading for the first few weeks. A memo went home on Monday outlining the homework. It can also be found on the documents section on our page.
- Work on your words. Remember to use the sounds you know to help.
- Once you know all the words, have someone at home sign the sheet. Remember to do both sides.
- Choose a book from the reading bag to read each night. Remember to sign the log sheet each time you read. Make sure you use your strategies to help with your reading.
Water Bottles
- Just a reminder to bring in a water bottle that you can refill and use throughout the day.
Cafeteria
- Our cafeteria is still not open, so students will have to bring their lunch each day.
- We will let you know when it will be opening.
Terry Fox Walk
- Our School Terry Fox Walk will take place on Tuesday September 24th.
- Please bring in a donation if you can.
Orange Shirt Day
- Our school will be observing Orange Shirt Day on Friday September 27th .
- Students and staff are asked to wear orange in honour of Residential School Children.
No School
- There is no school on Monday September 30th in observance of National Day Of Truth and Reconciliation.

Phys. Ed
- Our Phys. Ed days this week are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Library
- Our library day is on Wednesday.
- We will start taking out books next week.
Homework/Reading
- This will start next week.
- A memo will go home for this.
Water Bottles
- It is a good idea to bring in a water bottle that you can refill and use throughout the day.
Cafeteria
- Our cafeteria is not up and running yet. We will let you know when service will be starting, and a menu will go home.
Student Fee
- Just a reminder that the K-2 student fee is $20.00.
- Please send this in when you get a chance.
Agendas/Folders
- These will be going home each day, so you will know what is happening in class and at school.
- Please read, initial, and return the agendas each day.
- Check the folders for Memos or slips to be signed and return each day.

- We are into our last month of school!
- June will be a busy month with lots of events going on!
Phys. Ed
- Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Homework/Reading
- Work on your words. Remember to use the sounds you know to help.
- Once you know all the words, have someone at home sign the sheet.

- This week we have our spelling words. The focus is on /wh/ question words and contractions. We are sending them home to work on and we will be doing activities with them at school as well.
Field Trip
- We will be going to Maurie’s Minin Putt on Thursday June 6th with Ms. Moar’s class.
- A Memo was sent home with a permission slip to sign.
- The cost for students is $3.00, and the Student Council will pay the remaining cost.
- Please bring a water bottle, hat, and apply sunscreen before you leave for school.
- Students are asked to bring their lunch as well, as it will be after our cafeteria time when we return.
Cafeteria
- If your child is ordering, please write a note and put it in a bag or container.
- Lunch orders need to be into the cafeteria by 9:00AM.
