The students had fun creating these Spooky Halloween Scenes. First they used red, orange and yellow paint to make the sunset. Then using black paint they made some different things we see at Halloween. Spooktacular Work Grade 2!!

We are working on the 6+1 Writing Traits. Our focus was on Ideas. Having a main idea and staying on topic. With this in mind the students wrote details they know about ghosts and then made their own ghost to go with their writing. Nice work Grade 2! Great work with staying on topic!

The students created their own pumpkin in a shape of their choice. They designed a face and then painted it. Together they all make a spooky pumpkin patch. Wonderful work Grade 2!
