On Tuesday, November 27, the grade 5 classes will be going skating at the Civic Centre from 10:00 - 10:40. Please ensure that all students have their skates, a helmet and are dressed properly. If your child does not have skates or a helemt, please check with the school as we have numerous pairs of skates and helmets that they may use. You are more than welcome to come and join us while we skate. :)

School clothing will be on display tomorrow from 11:00-1:00. Students can try on items for sizing. If you are placing an order though, the money is required.

Social Studies Test on Thursday. Students can choose one of the native groups (Inuit, Innu, Beothuk, Mi'kmaq or Wolastoqiyik). Students can choose the one of these groups and I will ask them to identify their dwellings, food, transportation, tools and medicine.
Bring in a donation for poppy.
Book order is due Thursday.

Students will have their spelling test on Friday. I ask that students try and read each night for 20 minutes. I handed back a lot of tests and quizes yesterday. I am asking for them to be signed and brought back in. Just a reminder that we will be carving a pumpkin in class this week for the parade on Friday. The costume parade will be Friday afternoon at 1:00pm. Students can bring in their costume and wear it during this time. Also, they will have a dance Friday night at the school from 7:00-8:00. I hope everyone has a great week :)
