Permission slips for climbing Gr. 8H?
8H-8M Language Arts
1. Final copies of essay (book report) are on hold! Instead,
the final draft (double-spaced), will be collected on Friday.
(I want to make some comments before the final copy is presented)
2. Use the strategies for reading poetry, to work with "The Man He Killed" (in notebook)

1. Unit test Monday for BOTH classes! Study!

2. Current novel is an AR book. Some students have completed reading the novel,
and they may choose to continue to read other books as long as they keep up with
" in class" chapters.

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE 10:00am Wednesday
-Students in cadets, guides, scouts, cubs, brownies etc..Wear uniforms

1. Bring in L. Arts envelope signed (all items sent home in the envelope must be returned for the students portfolio
2. (8H) "R is for Rocket" sheet -list the clues that indicate setting.
3. Novel to be read for Nov. 15th -essay (book report) due Nov. 19th
