What a wonderful job the students did with their Easter art work! They used pastels to design the eggs and created their own bunny. Super work Grade 2!

Library
We have library on Wednesday. Remember to bring your book back.
Spell-A-Thon
All pledge sheets are due back on Tuesday March 12th. The Spell-A-Thon will be on Friday March 15th. Good luck everyone!
Math
We are working on Mental Math Skills, doubles and near doubles and making 10. Keep working on your facts and using different strategies.
Borrow-A-Book
Please make sure that you are reading each night and recording your book on the log sheet.
St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day is coming up on Sunday March 17th. We will be celebrating on Friday, so make sure you wear your green.
Class Project With Texas
We were away on March Break last week, but we did connect with our friends the week before. Their tulips have emerged and are growing. When we checked on our garden there was 45 cm of snow on it! Makyla, Shaye and Brianna did a great job as the reporters. This month we will be exchanging self portraits and All About Me writing. It is also our turn to send the letters this month.

Hi Everyone!
Hope you had a good weekend! What a lot of snow we had last week! The students had fun playing in it. Make sure you are dressed for the weather.

Library
Our library day is Wednesday. Don't forget your book.
Skating
We have skating on Thursday February 28th. Our ice time is 9:40 - 10:30. Make sure you bring your skates and helmet. Parents are welcome to join us if you are able.
Class Project With Texas
We were not able to connect with our friends last week because of our snow days. We sent them some pictures of all our snow. They couldn't believe how much we had. They would like to have some to play in. We are hoping to connect with them on Wednesday, our regular report day.
