Here are some important notes for this week:

Library: we will be going to the library tomorrow. Please bring your library book to school to make sure you can sign out a new book.

Homework: continue to read a levelled book and log what you are reading each evening. Make sure to practice letters or sight words each night. My ABC book, letter tracing, please make sure you are tracing the letters with your finger. Focus on the letters that the student does not know at first. When students are confident with naming the letters and the sounds consistently, please let me know and I will send home sight words. Play one math game each night. I would ask that you make sure to return the levelled books on Friday of each week.

  • It is important to send the agenda and 'bring back' 'keep home' folder to school each day.

Warm Clothing:  please come to school dressed for the weather. Warm sweaters, coats, snow pants, hats and mitts would be recommended from now on. We will be going outside for recess- dress warm!

Let's have a great week grade 1!!
