We have skating with our Grade 8 buddies on Tuesday, March 12th, from 8:45-9:20am at the Civic Center. This will be our last skating activity, so please come and join us. A huge thank you to all who came to help tie skates and go skating with the children. Your support was greatly appreciated.

We want to wish our friend Dominic,good luck at his new school. Today was his last day and we are certainly sad to see him go. Dominic is a very kind,helpful friend and we will miss him.

Welcome Back! I hope that everyone had a great weekend.Wow! What a lot of snow. The snowhills on our playground just keep getting bigger and bigger. Please remember to dress warmly and bring an extra pair of mittens or gloves, for when we go out to play.
Read each night and practice your Rock Star sight words.Read your book a few times, improving on your fluency each time you read. Look for the sight words and sound out the words you do not know.
This week we will be returning our library books on Tuesday but, will not be signing out a new book due to March break. If you forgot your book please bring it to school by Friday.
Spelling test and pledge sheets go home on Tuesday Feb.26. Students are asked to collect their money from pledges and return it to school by Thursday Feb. 28th, Thanks for your support!
We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Friday March 1st. Please send in the your collections for Thursday. We will be doing a lot of fun activites as we celebrate 100 days of Kindergarten.

Welcome Back,everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful day celebrating Family Day with your family.
We have library every Tuesday. Please return your book so that you may sign out a new ome.
All pledge sheets were due today, Feb. 19th. If you did not bring your sheet in please bring it tomorrow.
Our Spell-a-thon test will be held in class tomorrow Feb. 20th. Practice spelling your words tonight. Good luck everyone. You can do it!!!
Read your book each night. Look for your spelling words and rock star words as you read.Be sure to write your name on your reading log each time you read your book.
Our gym classes are on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday this week. Please dress in comfy clothes.
Don't forget to practice for your Show and Tell this week. We have switched our Monday group (red table) to Thursday.

Happy Valentines Day! We will be exchanging valentines tomorrow Feb. 14th. Don't forget to wear red or pink.
Friday Feb.15th is Flag Day. Our Canadian flag is 54. Please wear red and white or a Canada shirt to show your love for our amazing flag.
