Daily 5 is so much fun for the children! They especially love "working on words". They are always on task while doing word work so this makes me happy.

The children were learning about snakes in conjunction with the letter "s" and got really excited about these lovely creatures. We were also doing measurement in Math so we thought it would be cool to see how long various snakes were. It made our math unit sssssuper fun! :)

We had fun getting ready for St. Patrick's Day- doing crafts, singing songs and learning poems. We were very excited to make leprechaun traps to try to catch a leprechaun. No luck....they are too clever!!

Winter Fun!The children had so much fun this winter learning about snow and penguins.
Our unit on penguins was so interesting. The children learned many interesting
facts and created beautiful penguins-each choosing to make their favourite
type.
