On Wednesday, we went to visit our Hospital. We were welcomed in every department by lots of friendly people. We had an awesome tour and learned a lot. :)

The children created their very own "Pete the Cat" complete with their favourite colour shoes. The Pete the Cat books are a favourite in our classroom and the children love to join in and sing along.

We celebrated Grandparent's Day on Thursday, September 13. The children did a fantastic job singing and reciting poems to honour their Grandparents. Following the presentation, our Grandparents visited with us in our classrooms. Thank you for coming and celebrating with us!

We have been having a lot of fun getting to know each other and settling in at school. We have been busy learning about the rules for our school, playground, and classroom. I hope you check back often to see all the fun we have in Kindergarten!
What a great day for Nelson Rural! We really enjoyed having Rob visit our school. He was a very kind, friendly person and had a great message to share with the children.
