On Wednesday, June 13, K-1 is going to travel to the Magnetic Hill Zoo in Moncton for our year-end class trip. We will be going with Mrs, Sullivan-Goguen's Kindergarten class. This should be such a fun day. We are looking forward to seeing how many of our "Zoo-Phonics" animal friends are at the zoo. I will post pictures upon our return. Please check back. :)

We love to build and we worked on a lot of wonderful projects using recycled materials this spring. The children exceeded my expectations that's for sure and came up with so many cool ideas. They made robots, a car, pets, a city and musical instruments. So much fun!

We worked very hard to make awesome traps to catch a leprechaun. We cut, glued, painted, taped and built using boxes, tissue, paper, tubes, popsicle sticks and lego. We were so sure we would find one in our traps.

We were invited to James M Hill to participate in a Mawi'omi. It was an incredible experience. The children enjoyed the beautiful dances, regalia, music, drums and listening to stories told by elders. It is one thing to read books or watch videos on a computer/SMARTBoard, but to actually take...

This is a collection of pictures from our classroom. We love spending time with our Grade 7 buddies. We spent time reading together in these pictures. We put a lot of thought and effort into making our "Hibernation Stations" to help our animals get ready for Winter. There are...
