Today we went outside to take part in the "Take Me Outside Day". We were a day early as the weather doesn't look good for tomorrow. We did a nature scavenger hunt, tried some leaf and tree bark rubbings, and played in the leaves. It was a beautiful afternoon. We hope to get out again this week...

On October 24-this Wednesday-our school will be taking part in the "Take Me Outside Day" challenge. We plan to spend an extra hour learning and playing outside on this day. Please check the weather and ensure your child is dressed appropriately. Thank you :)

This week we hope to help families become more aware of the amount of time spent looking at screens as opposed to being active through the "Screen Time Challenge". Our goal for the week is to limit screen time to 2 hours a day OR at least reduce the time we spend on tablets, computers, phones, watching tv etc. Good luck!

The school year has started and our classroom is buzzing with excitement. We have been having so much fun getting to know one another and learning to work and play cooperatively. We have been learning more about our school and class rules and how to be safe on the playground. The children love story time and especially enjoy "Pete the Cat" books. We are off to a great start in Kindergarten. Check back soon for more updates :)
