We measured how much the garbage weighed on a normal day. Then we measured again today on Earth Day which we all tried hard to bring in a lunch with less trash. Did it make a big difference? Yes about 2lbs in the difference. And once we start composting that really really will make a difference...

We met with our buddies today. We decided to make birdfeeders to help the Earth. We used all natural items and some recyclable items too. I know the Blue Jay in the tree liked them.

We were lucky enough to have this wonderful presentation today at Nelson Rural in our gym. We as a class really enjoyed it and learned new information about each of the animals. Hunter was lucky enough to be chosen to play a game too. What a terrrific day!
