Les devoirs: Homework for this week:
- Students are to read their sound poem Gaston Cochon each night and practice the sound "on\om" (There is a video uploaded on the teacher page)
- Students are to practice pronouncing the words sent home with the poem as well.
- Students are learning about shapes. I attached 3 different songs on the web links that they can listen to at home to practice.
- There is no show and tell as there is no school on Friday.
- Practice the Alphabet once a night (Video clip on teacher page)
- Students are to read one of their french books in their zip lock bags once a night.
- Please send back all levelled books each Monday so I can send new books home in their ziplock baggie. (French books stay in the zip lock bag as well)
- Remembrance Day ceremony is on Thursday this week and will begin at 10 am.
- No school on Friday (PD day for teachers)

If any student in my class would like to participate in the Legion's poster contest, please send in a note, and I will send home the application form with the instructions and score sheet that they will be using. Any student in grade 1 can design a poster in either colour or black and white. Each entry can be no larger than 56 cm X 71 cm.

We had a lot of fun on Halloween day incorporating STEM into our day with the October catapult challenge! Students also had a scavenger hunt in the morning, incorporating math to start us off!
