The remembrance day ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 9th at 10am.
Any students who are in Sparks, Brownies, Girl Guides, Scouts and/or Cadets are encouraged to wear their uniforms for the assembly.
We will also have a donation jar in our classroom for poppy donations. Students are asked to bring in a donation for a poppy.

If any student in my class would like to participate in the Legion's poster contest, please send in a note, and I will send home the application form with the instructions and score sheet that they will be using. Any student in grade 1 can design a poster in either colour or black and white. Each entry can be no larger than 56 cm X 71 cm.

Our grade 1 french immersion class had a great visit with Jacob and Kayoe from Brilliant Labs who came to deliver a class set of MICROBITS!
We will be using the microbits in our Math and Literacy centers for number recognition and word work! Students are very excited to begin using them!...
