7H, 6W, 6FI - Read 15-25 minutes of book of choice each night.
Students must return the signed red slip by Thursday, Nov 28th if they would like to order Christmas Dinner on Dec 12th.
Donations to the annual Christmas Shop can be brought in for Nov. 29th.
Nelson Community Christmas tree in the park across from the school. There will be an official tree lighting event on December 1st, starting at 5:30 PM, with live music, hot chocolate, cookies, and free pictures.

Phys-Ed for grade 6: Monday, Wednesday

- Terry Fox Walk is Tuesday Sept 24th (wear comfortable shoes!)
- Fletcher's Farm Field Trip for 6/7D & 7H is Sept 24th, there will be a permission slip sent home.
- Truth and Reconciliation Day is Sept 30th (no school). We will wear our orange shirts on Sept 27th.

Welcome back everyone! I hope you had a wonderful summer.
This year I am teaching Language Arts to: Grade 6 White, Grade 6 FI Methot, and Grade 7 Hall. I will also be teaching a 6-week Personal Wellness class to each middle school homeroom.
Here are some notes for my Grade 6/7 homerooom.
Please turn in:
1. The up-to-date Student Information Sheet
2. The Photograph consent form (signed)
3. The field trip consent form (signed)
4. The student use of technology consent form (signed)
5. Your student fee ($40.00 for middle school students and $60.00 total for a family)
Phys-Ed classes for Grade 6 students are on Mondays and Wednesdays and for Grade 7 students it's Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Important Dates:
- Breakfast program starts Sept 9th *If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering for this please call 506-627-4047
- Picture Day for middle school is Thursday, Sept 12th
- Meet the Teacher will be Thursday, Sept 12th starting at 5:00

6D, 7H, 6/7M - Read 20 minutes of book of choice every week-night.
6D will be going on a field trip on June 10th. We are going swimming at MVHS, then to Richie's Wharf for a picnic before boarding the Max Aitken for a boat ride. If each student could please bring in their signed permission slip and $7.50 for the boat costs that would be much appretiated.
On June 10th ensure to be prepared with:
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Clothes for the boat (could be chilly!?)
- Bagged lunch with lots of snacks!
- Waterbottle
*Change to students shedule - Last day of school for students is June 21st.
6D: Gym class is Tuesdays and Thursdays - be sure to bring a change of clothes and indoor and outdoor sneakers!!! You can not wear crocks in gym class.
6D: S.S. Test for Mapping Unit on Friday, June 14th
June 7th is Tourettes Syndrome Awareness Day. Wear teal to show your support!
