HAPPY FRIDAY,KINDERS!!

Hi Kinders, Happy Friday!! Thank you for the pictures and the great work you did this week. I love seeing your smiles! I hope you had fun with the activities.

Today you can continue to work on the activities assigned. Please read your books,be sure to write on the reading log every time you read. I am really excited to see your fish creations, Autumn collections and patterns, leaf rubbings and what you can make with rocks (letters, shapes, your name). I am enjoying the writing you send and love seeing your work.

Fundraising-Liter-Action

A reminder to be collecting pledges and donations until November 8th for our school Liter-Action Fundraiser. Pledge sheets should be returned on the 9th. Our Liter-Action activity day is on November 16th when students will be engaged in sustained reading and physical activity. All students are challenged to engage in sustained reading for 1 hour. K-2 students will also have 1 hour of physical activity, elementary students will do 1.5 hours of physical activity, and middle school students will do 2 hours of physical acitivty. Our goal is to raise at least $10000 for our student council so we can continue to offer field trips, extracurricular sports, and other co-curricular events.We appreciate your support!! Go RAIDERS!!!

Good Morning, Kinders-Happy Thursday:)

A good Thursday morning to all of my little Kinders. A chilly morning today, did you notice Jack Frost paid us a visit. That means we need to dress a little warmer, put on your hats ,gloves, and a heavier jacket before you go out to play and explore today. While your outside, see if you can notice any other Autumn changes like you read in the book Autumn is Here!Look for patterns in nature and create your own AB patterns with items you find. Be sure to send me a picture and I will add it to our class page. Check out the neat nature patterns and cute rock message Mrs.Poole made on her teacher page!

Fish Creations-Since we are learning about the letter f for Francy fish, I thought of a fun activity for you to try. Create your very own fish,one that you just discovered. What does it look like?Design your own fish, using things you find around your home or outside,be sure to ask permission first for any items you might like to use. Be creative and unique, remember, this is a fish we have never seen before!Use the next couple of days and the weekend to work on your fish. Please send me pictures of you making your fish and your final creations. I can't wait to see what you create! Let's Go Fishing, Kinders!! Have Fun!!!
