Hi there what a beautiful November weekend we had, I hope you were able to get outside and enjoy it.  This is what's happening this week in Kindergarten,

Literacy- Read your Borrow-A-Books each night. You do not have to read all 3 books each night, but shoud read 1 or 2.This week read the ABC Letter Tracing Book and 2 student books, "at" rhyme book and Remembrance Day book. With your finger, trace each letter by following the arrows. Say each letter name, letter sound and animal name.ex.A a alligator. Focus on letters your child does not know, as well as those letters in their name.If your child recognizes all the letters, then focus on letter sounds they don't know. As students read the two student books, have them point to each word and stop at the period.Use the pictures for cues to help identify the words. Students should be recognizing some familiar sight words like: I, see, a, the, to, at. Please remember to fill in the reading log each night and have your child print their name.Return your borrow-a-book bag back to class on Thursday.

The children mixed red and yellow paint together to get a bright orange. ...

We had fun counting and mixing up the Witches' brew according to the recipe cards. We then played "Boo" dice game with a partner. Not too scary but a spooktacular fun time!
