Yahoooo, Spring has Sprung!!! What a beautiful weekend for the first days of Spring.I hope you and your family were able to get outside and enjoy it!!! 

This is a short school week, there is NO SCHOOL for Students on Friday, March,26th, as this is a PLD for Teachers.

Homework this week:1.Read your borrow-a-books- There are 3 books,this week.Two books are levelled text and the other is called 5 Senses, which the children coloured.We have been exploring our 5 Senses in class so this book goes nicely with this theme. Read one book each night. Point to each word as you read. Look at the beginning letter of each unknown word, sound out letters to help identify the word. Use the pictures to help solve the word.Print your name on the reading log and return your books on Thursday. 

2.Rockstar Sight Words- Review your sight words throughout the week.When you can say each word quickly return the sheet to class and I will test you on it to see if you are ready for the next list.                       

3.Read for Speed Game- Play the sight word game that is in your yellow folder. A fun way to practice your sight words.Have fun!!

Library- We visit the library on Tuesday. Please return your book to school, so you will be able to sign out a new book this week. Thanks!.

Phys. Ed. Classes- We have gym classes on Wednesday and Thursday. We are expecting nice weather this week, so our classes may be outside. Please pack an extra pair of gloves\mittens and socks.Thanks!!

Snow Pants-Our K-2 playground still has a lot of snow, so please continue to send your childs snow pants to school, even if the weather is warmer.Thanks!!

Remember to bring your water bottle and 2 extra mask to school.
