Congratulations to Bernie,Wally,Ayla and Nate, our I-Care Kids for March. Wonderful job, Kinders!!

Hi there! I hope you had a lovely weekend together with your family and friends.

Homework this week:1.Read your borrow-a-books- There are 2 levelled books and the third is called "In the Spring", the students will colour and take this book home on Tuesday.Read one book each night. Point to each word as you read. Look at the beginning letter of each unknown word, sound out letters to help identify the word. Use the pictures to help solve the word.Print your name on the reading log and return your books on Thusday.

2.Rockstar Sight Words- Review your sight words throughout the week. When you can say each word quickly return the sheet to class and I will test you on it to see if you are ready for the next list.Keep up the great work, Kinders!

3.Complete the page in your homework duotang- This sheet is on Earth Day.We will be discussing ways we can help the Earth. Students should write their own "I can" statements. Help them sound out unknown words, it's ok if they do not spell these words correctly, as they are writing only letter sounds they hear. This way the students will be able to reread their sentences.

Library- Our library time is on Tuesday. Please return your book so you may sign out a new book for the week.
