Bonjour mes élèves. Tomorrow we are in the lab for class. You will be finishing your writing piece, "Mon Auto: We will then share the results of your interview with an older family member describing clothing trends when they were middle/high school age. You will have the remaining time to find pics of these clothing outfits and save to your memory stick. See you tomorrow in the tech lab.

Bonjour mes élèves. Here is the next assignment required for the next few classes:  Interview a parent or grandparent, aunt or uncle etc. and ask them to describe the clothing and footwear they wore when they were your age. Ask them if any brands of clothing or shoes were popular and to name them. More specifically have them describe clothing worn for the following:

- a typical outfit for school

- a typical weekend outfit

- a typical outfit worn when playing sports

- a typical outfit for a special event like a school dance

If you wish to add anything else to this list please feel free to do so. This is not homework for tomorrow but I would like it done for Monday's french class. Perhaps you could interview them on the weekend?  Have fun with this and I look forward to seeing the results. See you tomorrow. à demain.

Bonjour mes élèves. Here is an update of work expected this week:

7e- I did corrections on your writing pieces "Un Monstre Connu" tonight. I am noticing many of you are not taking advantage of the phrases on the Word Wall. I am correcting sentences that are sitting in front of you on the board. What's up with that?!!

8e- I see you are almost finished of posters and diagram of cars from a specific decade. Remember you also have to give an oral presentation of this work with your partners.

Bonjour: Here is your homework for tonight:

7e- We will be writing about your monster next class. If you have not done an oral presentation describing your monster you need to do so before we write. Please give this some thought and come prepared to either write and/or discuss "Je connais un monstre"

8e- We have now been assigned a specific decade and you have a partner. In order to prepare for your presentations, our next class will take place in the lab on Thursday morning. You will have the chance to do your research. You may however start doing this at home to be extra prepared. You will want to consider main parts of the exterior as well as main features of the interior and decide if these features are practical or esthetic or simply for our added comfort and maybe not so necessary; for instance ( heated leather seats- are they necessary?) Just a thought!!
