Another busy year for our music/drama programs. Congrats to all actors, chorus members and stage crews involved in our spring productions, Get Hoppin! and Porridge!. You were all amazing. Special congratulations go out to our grade 8 guitar group. I hope you all keep playing at JMH! Have a great summer and rest up for another busy school year!!!

Reminder; no drama practice tomorrow due to our concert. Our evening drama presentation is at 6:00pm tomorrow (Tuesday, May 6th) evening. Actors should be at the school by 5:15pm to change into costumes. Chorus members should arrive at 5:45pm. No special dress required for chorus members. See you all tomorrow. As they say in the theatre, "break a leg!"

It's time for grade 8 students to present their project on Extreme Sports. This is an oral presentation. Evaluation will
be based on the the ability to communicate the following;The name of your chosen sport; explain why it is "extreme" ; the equipment needed to do the sport; a brief explanation on how to do the sport; the dangers associated with this sport; the health benefits gained from thsi sport; as well as stating the type of personality one would need to do this sport.
The images placed on the smartboard screen should present a story board to help guide you through the presentation.
Select nice clear images, add some text , and put some color in the background to create a nice visual.
