Our class will be going skating tomorrow on the outdoor rink right here at the school during their Phys. Ed class. Students are asked to please bring their skates and helmets with them.

We will be going skating on Thursday, January 16 at the Miramichi Civic Center. We leave the school at 8:40am and return at 9:50am.
For those students in basketball there is a jamboree this Wednesday, January 15.
Girls play at MVHS.
Girls Team Fletcher play at 3:30pm, 5pm and 6:30pm.
Girls Team Leger play at 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 6pm.
Boys play at Max Aitken at 4pm, 4:30pm and 5pm.

Parent teacher will be held tomorrow, Friday, December 6 between 8:30am and 11:30am. If you were scheduled to come or receive a call last Friday that can be swithched to tomorrow. I sent a memo home to those involved yesterday so please check home folders.
1. Please continue to check home folders each evening for important information/memos.
2. Reading should be completed each evening with the writing part of it being done once a week.
3. The Christmas Shop will be open Monday and Tuesday (December 9 and 10). All students will have an opportunity to go and purchase a gift for their loved ones at very minimal prices.
4. The Christmas Dinner will be held on December 12. A packed lunch will have to be brought to school that day if this wasn't ordered as the cafeteria will not be open.
5. We are collecting food for the local food bank so please send in any non perishable food items you may have.
6. We have skating December 19. We will leave at 8:40am and be back at the school by 10am.

8. The Christmas Concert is December 18 at 9am (storm date is December 19).

1. Please check home folders each evening and return things that need to be filled out ASAP.
2. Homework will be sent home again on Monday and is to be returned Thursday since there is no school for students on Friday. Students are required to read each evening for 15-20 minutes then fill out the log sheet. Once a week they need to complete the bottom part of the sheet, writing about one of the books they read during the week.
