Our multiplication and division quiz on Wednesday, April 16 will be on the 11 times table.

We will have a multiplication and division quiz on Thursday, March 20 covering all facts 0-10. They will usually occur every second week from now on. It is important that students are reviewing all their facts frequently!

All students should have a pair of headphones at school. We use technology frequently that requires students to work independently and this can only be done effectively when they have headphones on. Sharing headphones is not ideal! Thank you!

Monday, February 3 will be school colors day (burgandy and gold/yellow) as we kick off our school wide fundraiser.

A few notes for the week:
1. There is a basketball jamboree on Wednesday. Girls play at Dr. Losier, and boys play at Gretna Green. All players received a paper copy of the schedule and is also on the school Facebook page.
2. We will be going skating on Thursday, January 30 at the civic center. We will leave the school at 8:40am and will return at 9:50am.
3. The quiz on the 8 times table will be Friday, January 31. Students should be studying all facts regularly.

Our class will be going skating tomorrow on the outdoor rink right here at the school during their Phys. Ed class. Students are asked to please bring their skates and helmets with them.

We will be going skating on Thursday, January 16 at the Miramichi Civic Center. We leave the school at 8:40am and return at 9:50am.
For those students in basketball there is a jamboree this Wednesday, January 15.
Girls play at MVHS.
Girls Team Fletcher play at 3:30pm, 5pm and 6:30pm.
Girls Team Leger play at 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 6pm.
Boys play at Max Aitken at 4pm, 4:30pm and 5pm.

Just a note to let you know that the cafeteria won't be open tomorrow, Friday, December 20. Students must bring their own lunch.

Parent teacher will be held tomorrow, Friday, December 6 between 8:30am and 11:30am. If you were scheduled to come or receive a call last Friday that can be swithched to tomorrow. I sent a memo home to those involved yesterday so please check home folders.
1. Please continue to check home folders each evening for important information/memos.
2. Reading should be completed each evening with the writing part of it being done once a week.
3. The Christmas Shop will be open Monday and Tuesday (December 9 and 10). All students will have an opportunity to go and purchase a gift for their loved ones at very minimal prices.
4. The Christmas Dinner will be held on December 12. A packed lunch will have to be brought to school that day if this wasn't ordered as the cafeteria will not be open.
5. We are collecting food for the local food bank so please send in any non perishable food items you may have.
6. We have skating December 19. We will leave at 8:40am and be back at the school by 10am.
