We have begun our multiplication unit and have now covered our 2-, 5- and 10-times tables. I ask that you and your child review these facts at least 3 times a week to help them become more automatic when answering. I will update what facts to review as we learn them in class. A homework duotang with a multiplication chart will be sent home Monday.

Just a reminder that all students need to have a pair of indoor shoes that are appropriate for Phys. Ed class. The weather is changing and more dirt is being tracked into the school so it is necessary that students change their shoes before coming into the classroom. It is also important that students have warm clothing for outdoors. We have 3 outdoor recesses throughout the day and all students go out, so please make sure they have everything they need to keep warm :)

Friday: Costume Parade (K-8) and Sock Hop (gr. 3-5) in the afternoon

In honour of Chanie Wenjack and acknowledgment of Secret Path Week we will be wearing purple on Friday, October 20.
Check your child's backpack each Friday as they write a letter home in their Friday Home Journal. We brainstorm what happened during the week and they write to you, explaining what they did.
