Cursive Writing - 10 min. if any                    Speech - think about topics Spelling - Study - Our spelling list will                      - discuss possible topics    continue to grow as the year progresses.                 at home    Students should study the root words and                     - start gathering info. for    all related words. Theywill be tested on                            possible topics    20 words/wk.       Todays word - independence       Tomorrows word- transportation -students may want to try       to find related words to share with with the class tomorrow. Writing - work on prompt. - students get a writng prompt most mornings which they      are expected to write about a page. These will be used during writing lessons and      as a bank of writing to choose from when asked to complete a piece.

Tomorow is the big day for the spell-a-thon test. It is also PJ day.  Tomorrow is winter wellness fun day. Students have picked an activity for the afternoon, if they picked snowshoeing they will have to dress appropriatly for the weather. We will be having pizza for lunch at $1 per slice.
