Homework

I have been home sick for the last four days but my classes have been in the very capable hands of Miss Tozer.  She does not have access to write on this page so she was unable to add the homework. As always students should be reading every night.  Grade 5 has a new writing project they have been working on which should be just about done by now.  Again it is a sort of secret activity to be shared with you when it is done.  I hope you enjoyed the fruits of our labour from our last project.  I will be returning tomorrow and all will be back to normal (I hope) by monday. Homework

Grade 5 Our class will be working on a secret special writing activity over the next week and the children are told what is expected of them each night.  Please do not ask to see it.  I do expect that students are reading and studying their spelling words every night.  We are also working on the provinces and their capitals and students should be studying these as well.  Miss Baldwin expects that they are studying number facts daily.  Grade 6 We are presently working on the writing process and trying to solidify our ability to use it and discuss it before moving on to grade 7.  Any student who has not made 19 or higher on their test should be studying this and be ready to write about it.  We will also be finishing up speeches in the next few weeks.  Students always have spelling words to study and are expected to read on a daily bases both at school and at home.
