Math 7/8M & 8H Nov. 3rd 2010!

Grade 7M:  Complete Math Assignment "Integers, Decimals, Fractions".   Grade 8M:  Complete questions 4,5,6,7,12 page 133-134.   Grade 8H: Students finished dividing fractions by whole numbers and have now developed algorithyms to divide fractions.                    Students are to complete questions 5,6,7 page 139.

Math 7/8M & 8H Nov. 1st/10

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 2,3,4,5,6,9 page 106-107 dividing decimals. Grade 8M:  Complete questions 4,5,6 page 133 dividing whole numbers with fractions.   Grade 8H:  Complete questions 4,5,6,7,12 page 132-133-134 dividing whole numbers with fractions for Thursday Nov.4th.

Math 7/8M & 8H October 28th 2010

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 1,2,4,6,7,10,11,12 page 102 - 103 and class assignment.  Students will begin dividing decimals tomorrow.   Grade 8M/8H:  Complete mid unit review(all questions) page 128 and today's class assignment on fractions.  Students will begin dividing fractions with whole numbers tomorrow.   Reminder:  All assignments must be handed in to Mr. Henderson by Friday October 29th.  Report card marks will be submitted Saturday October 30th.  Students will receive their reports on Tuesday November 2nd.

Math 7/8M & 8H Notice Oct. 12th 2010!

This is a reminder that students in grade 7M will begin Unit 3 "Fractions, Decimals, and Percent"  Remember to bring everything to class including a calculator as this unit requires the use of calculators to find patterns.   Grade 8M & 8H:  Students will begin unit 3 "Operations with Fractions".  This unit includes multiplication and division of fractions.  Please remember to bring everything to class including a calculator.

Math Homework 7/8M and 8H Oct. 4th 2010!

Grade 7M:  Complete all questions in practice test and unit problem.  This will be marked as the unit test. Grade8M:  Complete questions 11, 12, 13 page 93 of the textbook.  Students will begin the unit problems tomorrow.   Grade 8H:  Complete questions 11, 12, 13 page 93 and questions 1(a,c) and 2(c) on the unit review page 97.

Math Homework 7/8M Sept. 30th 2010!

Grade 7:  Students will begin working on their practice test tomorrow in preparation for their test on integers next week.   Grade 8:  Student are now working on order of operations and must complete questions 7,8,9,10 page 92.

Students received there quiz on multiplying and dividing integers.  Make corrections and return to Mr. Henderson on Thursday September 30th. Students will begin the next lesson on the "order of operations"! Mr. Henderson
