Math Homework Grades 7/8M & 8H April 18th/11

Grade 7M:  Complete 1 to and 8 pages 136-137 on Circumference of a Circle. Grade 8M:  Complete questions 12 to 14 page 50 and questions 1 and 2 on Unit Review page 54.  Test on Thursday April 21st/11.   Grade 8H:  Complete questions 1 to 4 on "Unit Review" page 54.  There will be a test on "The Pathagorean Theorem" this Thursday April 21st/11.

Math Homework Grades 7/8M & 8H April 14th/11

Grade 7M:  Complete review sheets that were handed out in class today.  Students will begin the next unit "Circles and Area" tomorrow.  Students will need their Math sets!! Grade 8M:  Complete textbook questions 3 to 9 pages 43-44 and Assessment Focus question 10.   Grade 8H:  Complete textbook questions 3 to 10 on pages 43-44.

Math Homework Grades 7/8M & 8H April 11th/11

Grade 7M:  Complete "Practice Test' page 295 on Data Analysis and study for the test tomorrow on "Data Analysis Unit 7". Grade 8M:  Complete questions 5 to 9 page 34-35 on Pathagorean Theorem.   Grade 8H:  Complete the review sheet on "Pathagorean Theorem" and attempt the Investigate question on page 39 "Exploring The Pathagorean Theorem" for Wednesday.

Grade 7M:  Students are currently working on "Unit Review" for Data Analysis.  Questions 1 to 6 pages 292-293 due for tomorrow. Grade 8M:  Complete "Mid-Unit Review" questions 1 to 8 page 30 for tomorow.   Grade 8H:  Complete "Mid-Unit Review" questions 1 to 6 and 8,9 page 30 for tomorrow.

Math Homework Grades 7/8 M April 5th/11

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 4, 5, 7 in textbook on page 282-283.   Grade 8M:  Complete worksheet on "Measuring Line Segments" to determine side lengths.  We will go over the worksheet during Thursday's class.

Grade 7M:  Students are to complete the "Mid Unit Review" page 278 of the textbook. The review will be picked up for marking tomorrow. Grade 8M:  Complete questions 9, 12, 15, 16, 19 on page 15/16 of the textbook.   Grade 8H:  Complete question 11 "Assessment Focus" on page 21 of the textbook.

Math Homework Grade 7/8M March 29th/11

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 1 to 6 page 273-274 of textbook.   Grade 8M:  Tests have been handed back on "Linear Equations and Graphing".  Students are to make corrections on the test, sign by parent and return to Mr. Henderson for Monday April 4th.

Math Homework Grade 8H March 23rd/11

Grade 8H;  There will be a test on "Linear Equations and Graphing" unit 6 tomorrow Thursday March 24th.  Students should review the practice questions from the textbook and the review questions that were handed out today in class.

Math Homework Grade 7/8M March 22nd/11

Grade 7M:  Students are to have their test signed on "Equations" and return next class.  Students are now beginning the unit titled "Data Analysis."   Grade 8M;  There will be a test on "Linear Equations and Graphing" this Thursday March 24th/11.

Grade 8M:  Complete questions 5,6,9 and 13 or 14 on pages 347-348.  Students will begin the "Unit Review" questions next class.   Grade 8H:  Finish "Unit Review" questions 1,2,3 page 350 and 4 to 7 on "Creating a Table of Values" page 356.
