Math Homework 7/8M Dec. 7th

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 1,2,3 page 27-28 "Patterns and Relations in Tables".   Grade 8M:  Complete assessment focus question 13 on page 254 and the "Investigate" for the next lesson "Sales Tax and Discount" on page 256.

Math Homework 7/8M & 8H Dec.6th 2010

Grade 7M:  Complete "Explore" question page 25.  Lesson title is called "Patterns and Relationships in Tables" Grade 8M:  Complete questions 8,9,12,13 page 253-254.   Grade 8H;  Complete question 13 page 254 and the Investigate on page 256 involving "Sales Tax and Discount".

Math Homework 7/8M & 8H Dec. 2nd

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 4,5,6 page 18 of textbook.  Students are exploring "Algebraic Expressions". Grade 8M:  Complete questions 10,11,12,13 page 246.  If any students have not returned their test or practice test, tomorrow is the last day to hand in to Mr. Henderson   Grade 8H:  Test have been handed back.  Please make corrections to the test, have a parent sign and return to Mr. Henderson tomorrow.  Students are also to complete questions 10 and 11 page 246 of textbook.

Math Homework 8H Dec.1st 2010!

Grade 8H:  Students have now started the unit "Percent, Ratio, Rates"  Questions 4,5,6 page 246 are to be completed for next class. Note: Tests on unit 3 will be handed back on Thursday Dec.2nd.

Math Homework 7/8M Nov. 30th

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 7 to 9 page 13 and answer the "Explore" on page 16.  Students are beginning the lesson on "Algebraic Expressions".   Grade 8M:  Complete questions 18, 19, 20, and 21 page 241 and answer the "Investigate" on page 242.  Students will begin to study "Calculating Percents".   Homework due for Thursday Dec. 2nd.

Grade 7M:  Complete questions 3 to 7 page 9. Grade 8M:  Complete investigate for unit 5 "Percent, Ration, Rate".   Grade 8H:  Complete "Investigate" and 6 terms unit 5 "Percent, Ratio, Rate".

Math Homework 7/8M & 8H Nov. 25th

Grade 7M:  Students have received their test on Fractions, Decimals, and Percent.  They are to correct, sign and return tomorrow.  Unit 1 has been introduced and question 3 page 9 is to be completed for tomorrow.   Grade 8M:  Complete questions 1 to 5 on review sheet in Math binder.  Tests will not be returned until all students have written.   Grade 8H:  Students are currently writing the test on "Operations With Fractions"  Several students have not finished therefore time will be given tomorrow during class. Students will begin "Percent, Ration, and Rate" next week.

Grade 7M:  Complete practice test "Fractions, Decimals, Percent" page 123.  Test tomorrow on unit 3.  Practice test must be handed in with written test tomorrow.   Grade 8M:  Complete practice test "Operations with Fractions" pages 162-163.  Test tomorrow on unit 3.   Grade 8Hawkes:   Complete practice test "Operations with Fractions" pages 162-163.  Test Thursday on unit 3.

Math Homework 8H Nov.17th

Grade 8Hawkes:  Students received two assignments back today.  They are to make corrections and return by Monday Nov. 22nd.  Students are also working on "Order of Operations with Fraction"  They must complete question 7a and either b,c,or d on page 155.   Show All Work!!

Grade 7M:  Complete worksheet "Fractions, Decimals, Percent". Grade 8M:  Complete "Dividing Mixed Numbers" worksheet and question 3 page 151 of the textbook.   Grade 8H:  Complete "Dividing Mixed Numbers" worksheet and question 3 page 151 of the textbook.   Note to parents: Students will spend another week on their units and the unit test will be given the week of the 22nd of Novemeber.
