I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. It's hard to believe but we are beginning week 6 of home learning.  Please remember to check out the choice board for this week.  Choose 2 activites each day.  Have fun! Try to continue reading each night and review sight words a couple of times throughout the week.

If you have any questions or just want to send some pictures to share on our page, please email me. carolann.moar@nbed.nb.ca

Miss you all!

Have a great week and I will talk to you soon!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well and keeping active. It's hard to believe but we are beginning week 5 of Home Learning.

I've switched things up a little for the month of May.  Instead of a monthly calendar, I will post weekly choice boards.  Each day will consist of 3 activities (Math, Reading/Viewing, Writing) but students are only asked to choose 2.  I would recommend that you switch things up and try to complete a few task from each category througout the week (ex: not always leaving out the Writing activity)  I will also continue to add the weekly District STEAM challenges.

This week I am adding a couple new websites that seem wonderful and align quite well with our curriculum.  I know many of you are familiar with and have been using Dreambox.  If you wish to continue with that site, great!   I just had some parents share with me that there child was getting bored with it so I wanted to offer some other options.  For one of the websites, I was able to create a class list so I have your childs username and password.  The others are offering free trials for parents so you can just sign up for that.

If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me carolann.moar@nbed.nb.ca

Good morning everyone and welcome to week #4 of Home Learning!  I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed your time with family.  This week I am adding a couple of links that I think you may find fun. I would suggest that you continue to follow our April calendar of activities.  Remember to incorporate reading each evening, if possible.  You can also try to do the following at least a couple times per week.

Have fun boys and girls! If you have any questions, my email is carolann.moar@nbed.nb.ca

Hello everyone! We are now entering our 3rd week of home learning.  I've had a chance to speak with most of you last week and I have to say that I am so proud of both parents and my students for trying to make the best of our new learning style.  Thanks for all the support at home!

This week I would like you to continue to follow the April calendar.  Don't forget that this Wednesday April 22nd is EARTH DAY!  Take a look at some of the suggested activites or come up with some on your own.  Also, remember to read daily and practice your sight words a couple of times throughout the week.

I am adding 2 links this week.  One is the District STEAM challenge and the other will bring you to some neat Art ideas!

Take care & stay safe!

Ms. Moar
