After reading a book about Automn, the class went on a leaf hunt on Tuesday to collect different colour leaves for our art activity and to learn more french vocabulary outdoors. It is still early, but we found some leaves that have already started to change their colour.

A big Thank you goes out to Adam for raising money at his lemonade stand to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation! He raised over $92.00!

Just a reminder:
Thursday is Terry fox walk at 1 pm.
Friday is Orange shirt day, if students do not have an orange shirt, they can wear white or black and will have a pin to wear.
Show and tell is on Friday as well. Please bring something special that is Yellow (Jaune)

The students coloured their book "Maria" today and practiced their sound "a". They can refer to this video when reading their book at home.

Les devoirs: Homework for this week:
- Students are to read their book "Maria" each night this week (There is a video we created that will be uploaded on the teacher page)
- Students are to finish their printing of the letter A sheet
- Practice their numbers 1-20 in french ( Video link on teacher page)

A couple students were very excited at the beginning of the school year about finding painted rocks around the city, so we decided we would paint our own rocks to hide somewhere special for someone else to find and fill their buckets and make their day! We discussed how little acts of kindness...
