Baby Pierce and his mom, Vicky visited with us outside. We asked Vicky a lot of questions about Baby Pierce, and sang to him. He laughed and clapped his hands. :)  Mrs. MacDonald treated us to ice cream! :) Many thanks to our teacher, Baby Pierce, Vicky and Mrs. MacDonald! :)

We finished our Roots of Empathy classroom sessions with Mrs. MacDonald. Baby Pierce taught us a lot! We received certificates, and were excited to find out that next week Baby Pierce will visit with us on the elementary playground. :)

Congratulations to Albion and Charles - today's MONEY BINGO winners! :)

We read the book WHO SANK THE BOAT?, and experimented with boats made out of aluminum foil (tin foil). We filled the boats with paper clips, pebbles, glass stones and elastics. Some boats sank right away! :( Other boats capsized! :( And some held a lot of stuff before taking on water and sinking! :) Ellie and Jozee made canoe shaped boats. They were the strongest of the girls! Gabe made a boat shaped like a kiddie pool and it was the strongest of the boys! Great job, everyone!
