The children had fun acting out the song "10 in the bed" but, we changed it to 11, so everyone could join the fun. Violet played the "the little one" and got the bed all to herself! A fun way to learn combinations of 10, or 11!

WOW, can you believe it, your last week of Kindergarten!! Where has the time gone? We have a busy week ahead of us.
Happy Fathers Day to all Dad's I hope you had a fun weekend
Tuesday -Sports Day- we have a full day of fun activities for the children to participate in. Please wear sneakers and comfy clothes.Don't forget to bring a water bottle, hat and apply sun block and bug spray. We are ordering pizza for lunch, so if your child does not like pizza they will have to bring their lunch. The cafeteria will not be open.
Wednesday- Kindergarten Super Duper Fun Day-we have planned a super day with the Mrs. Pooles class for our end of the year activity. We will be outside for most of the day, so please wear sneakers, comfy clothes and a hat. Apply sun screen, bug spray and bring a water bottle. We are planning to have a picnic outside so bring food that does not need to be heated.
Friday- Our last day of school is a full day. The cafeteria will not be open so please bring your lunch and a drink, we are still able to heat food. Report cards will be given out at the end of the day.
I want to wish everyone a fantastic summer vacation. Dear Albion, Alexcia, Brielle, Carter, Dax, Harlan, Matthew, Owen, Reid, Renèe and Violet, it has been a pleaseure being your teacher and I am very proud of each of you. I hope you enjoyed your first year at Nelson Rural School and had a lot of fun in Kindergarten!!! I will miss you!! Love Mrs. Sullivan-Goguen

Timelines were sent home on Monday and are due on Thursday, June 13th. In "You and Your World", we are discussing ways the children have changed since they were babies. Please share with your children some fun stories of what they were like as infants and toddlers. Did they have a favourite food, blanket, stuffy ,song etc.? The students will present their timelines to the class, so it would be helpful if they could share something special about themselves. Thanks for your support!

Congratulations to our JV Girls Volleyball team who won the District Championship against Gretna Green. The girls improved all year, played very strong as a team and came home with the banner. Awesome job, girls! We are proud of you!!

Congrats to our Girls Varsity Volleyball team, who finished second at the STU Middle School Classic. The girls lost in the tie breaker to a strong Fredericton team. Great team work girls! We are proud of you!!
