This week we are focusing on measurement. We suggest that you draw a snake (cut it out) and measure yourself (using string, twine or yarn) and use these to compare with other objects to find something that is longer, shorter or about the same length. You can also measure your snake and your height using non-standard measurement. For example, use your string and see how many shoes long you are. Or how many markers long you are. I will link a video that shows how to measure using non-standard units of measurement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8o7n-A0SC0 Be creative and have fun!

If you want to play Snakes and Ladders but don't have the game board you can make your own like Mrs. Sullivan-Goguen. I will share a picture of her game board. Ms. Moar created one on her driveway that was a lot of fun as well. Here is the link :) http://nelsonrural.nbed.nb.ca/ms-moar/video/snakes-ladders-fun-numbers Have fun!
