Our worms are busy at work eating their way through the day. We add paper once a month or so and spray water on it to keep it moist for them to eat. All of the soil has been made by the worms. It is a really neat project for the students to see happen and it is good for the earth too. On the...

We will be going skating again at the Civic Center on Thursday. Please bring your skates, helmet and some warm mitts. If you have ski pants that will help too. It is going to be a lot of fun so don't forget.

Emily wrote an wonderful piece of writing about her trip to the Civic Center today. She used many great details that help the reader to make mental pictures in their head as they read. This is one strategy that all good writers use. Way to go Emily. He opening was terrific also.
