Hi everyone, I hope you had a fun weekend. It looks like winter wants to hang on a little longer, with another snowfall on Sunday. So continue to wear your snowpants, coats, boots and mittens.

We have a short week with No School for Students on Friday April 11th, Parent\Teacher Interviews 8:30-11:30 am. Thursday April 10th, Parent\Teacher Interviews 4-6pm.

Report Cards go hone on Tuesday April 8th. Please keep the report, sign and return the sheets in the report card envelope.Thanks!

Homework- This week please review your sight words. When you know these words quickly, have a parent  sign,and return the sheet to class.I will test the children on their words and will send the next list if they are ready. In Literacy some students will complete the beginnig letter sound page and the April letters\sounds page. Some students will complete the final letter sound in CVC sheet and will read your book Bun, Bun Likes to Hop. Sign your name on the reading log each time you read. This a CVC decodable book.Students will sound out these CVC words. 

What's in Your Egg?- On Wednesday April 9th, students will bring home a plastic egg. They must find an item to fit in the egg and write 3 clues which they will read to the class about their item. From the clued given the students will try to guess what is in the egg. Please help your child to sound out their clues so they will be able to read them alone. Return your egg and sheet to class on April 15th. Remember it's a secret, so don't tell anyone what is in your egg.

Water Bottles- Please remember to bring a water bottle daily.    

Phys. Ed. Classes- Our phys.ed. classes are on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Please dress in comfy clothes and sneakers to run, exercise and play.Our extra phys.ed class on Wednesday afternoon is an outdoor class, so please dress for the weather. 

Cafeteria- Please place your daily lunch orders online. Please send me a note in the agenda if your child is purchasing lunch or any item from the cafeteria. Please send a note with your childs name,indicating exactly what they are ordering, in a baggie with the money. Thanks for your support!

Library- Please return your book on Wednesday and we will visit the library to sign out a new book as there is no school on Friday.
