Keep up with assignments- don't forget about them because of the length of time between classes!     Review chapter notes, and text chapter, to prepare for quizzing!   7H-7M Language Arts 1. Read your novel   7M Social Studies 1. Presentation of projects on Thursday  (no one came in to work at noon or after school (on computers) so I assume that everyone has their project ready)

Book Report due November 26th (outline given today in notebooks)   8H-8M Social Studies 1. (8M) Answer question about aerial photo vs. map 2. Both classes have essay on "How I will use what I've learned in Soc.St. in my life"     Due date: next class!   7H-7M Language Arts 1. Go over notes on subject and predicate 2. Read   7M Social Studies 1. All questions on "Disempowerment" must be answered in notebooks (we corrected these today) 2. Projects will be presented on Thursday. Students needing to use a school computer to complete     thuis assignment should be in at noon on Tuesday with Mrs.Hawkes

Report cards were sent home today!  :) Grade 8H students have a Reflection sheet to be completed and returned for Wednesday.   8H-8M Language Arts 1. Writing envelopes to be returned signed 2. Business letter (Better copy) for Wed (8H)                              (Final copy) for Wed. (8M) if not already passed in.   8H-8M Social Studies 1. Work on Street maps (text) to be completed 2. (8H) Essay due Friday (approx. 1 page) "How what I learn in Soc. St. will be                                                                          important in my life." 3. Grade 8H-8M have brought samples of their writing home tonight.  There is a Writing Rubric Information package in each envelope. Parents are asked to go over the writing examples, and the rubric, to familiarize themselves with "how" writing is being scored.
