Our Primary students spread some Christmas Cheer to the residents at Losier Hall this past Friday. They sang Christmas Carols in both English and French and handed out Christmas Cards they made at school. It was a wonderful experience for both the students and the residents. Merry Christmas to everyone and enjoy the holiday break!

Nelson Rural is getting into the Christmas spirit and delivered gifts to 95.9 sunFM for the "Giving Tree" to be given to seniors for Christmas. These gifts were all donated by staff and students. Great job Raiders for spreading some Christmas cheer!

Happy Holidays!

Congratulations to Mrs. Sullivan-Goguen's Kindergarten Class, the winners of our first Spirit Week Challenge of the year! They claimed the RAIDERS Hat. There was great school spirit from K-8 for this first challenge! Stay tuned for the next Spirit Week challenge. Will the kindergarten students hold on to the RAIDERS hat, or will another class win it?

Mrs. Dickson would like to thank her Green Team members for all their hard work  and dedication with the start up of the recycling and composting program installed in our cafeteria. We are excited to see how we can reduce our Nelson Rural Environmental Foot Print by doing our part.
