Nelson Rural is promoting Participaction in our community. Any activity counts inside or outside of school hours. Since Monday is World Bicycle Day, let's see how many people in our school community we can get to bike, or scooter to school. It's not only good for your health, it's also good for the environment!
Administration and Middle School Teachers would like to acknowledge the following students for thier academic achievements in Term 2. These students had 80% of their scores at 3+ or higher in the core subject areas. Great work Raiders!
Lost and Found items from the Fall/Winter are now on display in the lobby and will remain there until Tuesday. Check out the video on the video tab (below). Remaining items will then go to Goodwill. Always a good idea to put your child's name on the tags of important items!
This week we will be celebrating French Culture & language throughout our school with whole wide and individual class activities! Please join us in celebration by taking a photo in our photo booth in our foyer!
Bullying is repetative and relentless verbal/social/emotional/physical acts towards individual students. Nelson Rural School is committed to the prevention and intervention of bullying.
Nelson Rural Students are now accepting pledges for their annual Numer-Action fundraiser in support of their student council. ALL students will be accepting pledges until February 15th. On Tuesday, February 20th, students will then be engaged in a full-day of Math and Physical Activity. All pledge money must be returned by Thursday, February 29th. Please give generously!
